The Angamaly Church of God Full Gospel in India is a church that stands for the foundational doctrines of the Church of God, the truths of God’s Word, and the holiness and separation of early Pentecostal faith. “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

In 1998, during the tenure of the respected Overseer P.A.V. Samsar, Pastor K.K. Isaac and his family came to Angamaly and began the ministry. Initially, God enabled worship services to be conducted at the Y.W.C.A. Hall in Adam Square on Aluva Road. Later, a house was rented on Nazareth Road in Angamaly, where worship services were held for about two years. After that, another house was rented on V.I.P. Road in Angamaly, and worship continued there.

The pastor and believers at that time desired to have a prayer hall and parsonage of their own for the Church of God in Angamaly. As a result of their continual prayers, in 2001 God enabled them to purchase seven and a half cents of land on Aluva Road in Angamaly, close to the railway station and private bus stand, about 100 meters inward from Mundadan Tourist Home, along with an additional half-cent of land for access. Subsequently, God also enabled the church to purchase a burial plot in Koratty.

Thereafter, trusting in God by faith, construction of the church hall and parsonage began. God helped them build the ground floor as a prayer hall, the first floor as a parsonage, and the second floor as a mess hall. In 2005, after the completion of the construction, God enabled the then Overseer, K.C. John, to dedicate the church hall and parsonage.

On this occasion, it is impossible to forget Brother A.V. Sunny and his family, who provided financial assistance for the purchase of the land and construction of the building. The church gratefully remembers Pastor K.K. Isaac and his family, who worked tirelessly day and night, providing support and encouragement in building the church hall and parsonage.

Following the ministry of Pastor K.K. Isaac, Pastor Abraham Mathew, Pastor C.I. Thomas, Pastor Johnson George, Pastor Binu Thomas, and Pastor Benny Samuel served and worked for the growth and advancement of the church. From April 2026 onward, God enabled Pastor V.P. Thomas to take charge as the minister of the Angamaly church.

During this period, God also enabled committee members Brother N.F. Thomas, Brother A.T. Thomas, Brother P.V. Yohannan, Brother A.V. Sunny, Brother Abin Abraham, Brother Mose Mathew, Brother Jaison T. John, Brother C.I. Johnson, Brother Jijo Joseph, Brother P.O. Jose, and Brother P.P. Rajeev to work alongside the above-mentioned servants of God.

The growth of today’s esteemed Church of God, Angamaly, has been marked by many obstacles and numerous challenges. Nevertheless, it is with gratitude that we remember how the Lord, the Head of the Church, has been with us in every situation, guiding and sustaining us. The church has witnessed countless miracles, including the salvation of souls, the transformation of many lives, unexpected opportunities opening in workplaces, miraculous healings, and answers received by those who cried out for generations. The church is indebted to all those who faithfully persevered in prayer throughout its history.

God continues to help Angamaly Church of God move forward as a model church in doctrine and unity.
